Full Name:
Carmine Cleaver
Age and Year:
5th year, 15 years old
Wand:
Hawthorn 12'', Unicorn hair.
Blood Type:
Half blood, but not known to him. He believes he is a muggle born.
Physical Description:
He stopped growing in second year and is stuck at a height of 5'8'' (first year 5'4''). His white hair and pale skin is due to a
genetic faulting, meaning he has no skin pigments. That and his deep blue eyes makes him a real sight for the eye and he is often mistaken for a girl with that
baby face of his.
He often wears nail polish and makeup and is rarely seen without his silver headphones. Carmine's fashion sense is top-notch and he can often be seen with
muggle fashion-magazines.
Personality:
He is a rather calm person and does not like to get worked up over small matters. He likes philosophy and does not see any meaning in getting revenge or
getting depressed, nothing will get better because of it anyway. His biggest interest is music and he often hums on songs he recently heard or just came up
with. Even though he is a calm and collected person he likes to have fun. He have a lot of imagination and can easily get drawn in to fantasy land. He not one
to start a conversation and does not mind to be alone but thinks two is better than one on a rainy day with nothing to do. He is friendly and polite when you
first meet him but if you get to know him you will see that he is lazy and likes to tease his friends but will never let anyone else do it. He does not like to
tell lies but will if it is to protect his friends. He have never had any friends before he came to Hogwarts so he values them high enough to put his life on
the line for them if needed.
Likes:
Music. Muggle junk food. He loves being out in the sun but his pigments does not allow him to get brown.
Dislikes:
Music haters. Homework. Does not like people who are unjust towards his friends.
Family and History:
Carmine started his life as an orphan, being left on the church stairs when he was a new born baby. The church personnel suspected he had been abandoned
because of his strange physics. Carmine was, when found without any skin or hair pigments, something that, if proved dangerous to his health, would have been
very expensive to treat. He was later labelled for having the VKH syndrome, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome.
He was soon adopted by Hannah and Daniel Cleaver since they had no children of their own.
The Cleaver family is very wealthy and has ties with the higher society. Living in the middle of London, in a modern flat, Carmine was always a rather spoiled
child and always gets what he wants.
His father, Daniel, works with music and is rarely home. He is the owner of a large record company, and due to this he has to work overtime and travel, a lot.
His mother also works with music. She is a housewife, and a singing tutor working from home. Because of his parents work and hobbies, Carmine learned to love
music at an early age, and is very talented. He loves his parents dearly, having a very strong bond with his mother. He does not see his father all that much,
but loves him none the less.
You might think that he is an obnoxious brat, who knows nothing about the values of money, but that is not true. His mother, a very pure hearted woman, taught
him to value and care for everything. He spent a lot of time together with her, learning about life and how you should treat other beings. From her, he also
learned how to apply and wear makeup and nail polish. This often resulted in him being called gay, but he learned from his mother that 'you never fall in
love with a gender, it is the person behind it that you love' so he considers himself a bisexual.
Because of his social status, he never really had any friends before he entered Hogwarts.
Hogwarts came as a huge surprise to him. He had never known anything about magic before, and had always believed that he was just another human.
So when an owl suddenly came with a letter announcing that he was a wizard, he thought it all to be some stupid joke, until even more letters came and he was
forced to accept it. His first year at the school was rather rocky, to say in the least. He was not at all happy about staying away from home for such a long
time, missing his mother immensely and not being able to meet his father during the few times Daniel was at home.
Even before Hogwarts when he was in preschool, he learned that if he kept to himself he did not risk any arguments or problems with others. This behaviour
followed him into Hogwarts, seeing how he had earlier been bullied in school because he always refused to give his "friends" expensive gifts. He
thought that it would be exactly the same at this school.
As the school years came and left, he started to really take an interest in magic, and started talking more to the teachers and read as many books as he could
bear. When it came to his fellow students though, he still preferred to keep to himself and not talk to them, unless he was forced to do so.
After his third year, he stopped visiting the library every day and instead started spending time in his Common Room, perhaps writing a new song or such. He
could also be seen walking around quite a lot more, exploring the castle. From this, most gathered that he was taking a step out of his shell.
Now entering his fifth year, he is more confident in himself and almost enjoys being out in the public places of the school, though socializing is still not a
big hit with him.
